She’s back~!

Horrible movie last night after I got off of here….. horrible, horrible, horrible….. what’s worse, is we sat through. It was one of those that you just can’t make yourself stop watching. Raging Grizzly. OMG…..don’t… just don’t…….. It must have impacted my Queen….. she had a fitful night sleep….. which means I had a fitful nights sleep……. none the less….. up and at ’em this morning. I fed us both and away we went. Really tame day in the water today…. A couple very distant sharks…. one massive cooperative turtle…… but two fun dives. Water color on the second dive looked almost fake. You’ll know it when you see it…….

Came home and was sitting here editing pictures when the garage called and said my truck was ready…. Yay~! We packed up and left immediately. I stopped and filled the Suzuki up with gas before dropping it off where it belonged. Angie met me there and hauled me the rest of the way to the garage. Had to kerplunk down just over $300 (that’s after a $215 deposit) but I had my truck back. I had forgotten just how much I like that truck… it’s big, I fit in it….. I can tip my beer up and finish it without craning and hurting my neck, it’s solid…. it don’t rattle when you hit a pot hole…. the glove compartment don’t randomly fall open… I don’t have to shift/use a clutch. Bust my buttons, I didn’t realize how much of a pain in the touchas that is….. especially when you have to slow down and/or stop 50 times before you get to your destination. I am not complaining…. I am eternally grateful for having a vehicle to use so I wasn’t stuck here in the house this past week…. especially since it didn’t cost me a cent…… thankful~~ but oh so glad to have DD 2.0 back~!

I think I only have 1 dive tomorrow morning instead of the typical two….. but will probably be more worn out from that one than I usually am with two. I think I mentioned….. there is going to be 12 DSD’s on the boat tomorrow morning (cruise ship is in) DSD is Discover Scuba Diving. People making a dive for the very first time….. chasing 2 or 3 DSD’s is a challenge…… tomorrow I have 12….. and those dives usually last right around a half an hour (they are excited and breathe hard/fast)…. which gives me about 3 minutes per person to get their pictures. Which means swimming my a$$ off to catch up to each and every one of them. If I get it done properly…… should mean HUGE advertising for the dive shop. Not going to hold my breath for any kind of photo tips….. cruise ship people are notoriously cheap when it comes to tipping for something like that. I’ll definitely be ready for a couple of days off…. but I’ll be driving my truck~!  😉

Good Night Y’all – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
