‘Tis the Season~~

We were invited out to a Christmas party last night…. and went. We stayed much later than either of us expected and didn’t get back here until well after both of our bed times, so– very sorry, but I didn’t even get on line. I did make a couple of dives yesterday and got lots of nice pictures for you though- so I can share them. Even though I wanted to sleep in this morning after our late night. Ma-Nature decided that was not to be. I guess one of the hazards of getting older combined with being used to being up very early for work for 17 years every day.

Today was a lounging type recovery day for both of us. Oddly, the grass didn’t need mowed. I got all my other projects done a couple of days ago while there was no diving, so after a small but tasty breakfast we settled in to watch some idiot box entertainment. Turns out the first movie we watched, we’ve seen before but my bride wanted to watch it again…… Law Abiding Citizen. I like it well enough I didn’t mind watching it again (and turns out I forgot about half of it) Definite 10 out of 10. Second one was called Red Notice with Dwayne Johnson (Angie likes him) and Ryan somebody-or-other…… entertaining…… incredibly stupid, but entertaining. Third was a dorky ‘feel good‘ movie that I don’t remember the name of- but Angie likes them, so I suffer through one once in a while. This one was Christmas themed as most are this time of year……. Now I’m sitting here half heartedly listening to the Packers/Raven game while I type. Belly  is growling even though I polished off most of a scrumptious shrimp platter while watching movies, so I’ll go make me a sammich when I’m done here.

Diving tomorrow- every day that there is a boat going out this week. I finally got the part for my camera that I have been waiting the last two and a half weeks for – so I’ll be back to my full camera set up. Hopefully nothing goes wrong for a while. Several more parties lined up for the coming week…… Tis the season~~

Good Night Ya’ll – – – – – – – – – – – – – Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
