Diving and working………

Sorry about missing last night……. after an AH-MAZING two dives yesterday, we went up to Blues to chat with the folks I was telling you about the day before. During the process, the Blues folks asked if we could work tonight as bar-backs. We were scheduled to work earlier in the week, then called off. Apparently later,  the act decided they could get there and perform after all but we were never rescheduled to work. Of course we said yes, explained to our friends and immediately set into working. I had to cut out for a little bit to go see ‘Doc’ about my BP. Still not happy with it – she has made yet another change in meds – so I’ll see how that goes. I headed back to Blues and for the next 3 ½ hours – I humped beer and alcohol for the bartenders, making sure they always had cold beer ready to serve their customers. It wasn’t near as busy as I think they expected it to be – so I convinced my Queen to take a seat at the bar and relax while I did the job. She came around occasionally so I could go smoke a cigarette, which made it nice. Blue’s was open later than usual to accommodate the late arrival of the primary entertainment – so by the time we got the place shut down and cleaned up – it was almost 23:00 (11:00pm for all you civilians out there). Came home and swallowed up 4 egg salad sammiches because I hadn’t anything to eat after that entire very long day (yes, my own stupidity) and fell mostly promptly into bed. Hence, no blog or FB posts.

I started my day with two of the most amazing dives I have made in quite some time….. but don’t have the time or space to tell you about it today. We have to be back up at Blues here in a little bit for another night of bar-backing, only I suspect tonight will be much busier as the band tonight usually always has a huge draw. I’m hoping I can convince my Queen to sit out again and just relieve me as necessary, but we’ll see. For now I wanted to get something up here as I’m fairly sure I’m gonna be too tired to blog again tonight. Plus – I wanted to get you some of my newest pictures…..AWESOME diving~! For now………….

Good Night Ya’ll – – – – — – – – — – – — Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
