Family

I’m about worn out and really sore from a long day of running – but what a great day it was. Almost the entire day was spent with family, some I only get to see once or twice a year [when I lived here] – but got to see almost all during the course of the day.

I don’t want to brush off the past couple of days…. but catching up quick because I want to get in bed. Today was about getting a new 4 wheeler for our Grandson, spending time with my baby Sister, her husband [Brad] and their youngest son Brandon, who all drove down from the middle of Michigan to spend some time with me and my Queen before we head back to the island. We all wound up at Turoni’s (me and Nelia’s favorite pizza joint)   My “Lil-Sis-Cuz” Susie and her son Paul made it, as well as Stephie, Josh and my Nephew Alex…… What a wonderful, wonderful evening. We ate, drank and laughed for almost 3 hours. We wound up leaving there and going to another local establishment for a round of desserts (Jägermeister and Dippin’ Dots) and another drink or two and tons more wonderful conversation….. just a great, great evening…….

There is a ton more detail – but like I said…… I’m pooped and sore and ready to stretch out – so I’m putting up pictures from today to share….. I hope you notice the expressions on all of the faces……

Good Night Ya’ll > > > > > > > > > > >> Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
