Sunday… funday… not so much~

As I stated last night, my Bride seems to be regressing slightly which is a bit of a concern to me….. Her CT scan is scheduled for noon tomorrow [our time] plus additional appointments with Doc are to be made and met. I’ll make sure it comes up then…. I seemed to have back slid a little bit myself – but that is on me….. because I was feeling mostly like my old self, I eased up on some of the OTC meds (that crap is really not good for you) and I think that’s what I was dealing with today. I recognized it quick and have went back to my barrage of meds….. I have to stay in enough shape to make sure my Queen is taken care of. Have no fear – we shall get through this….. maybe not as fast as I would like – but we will get through it!

I have confirmed that my little Sister and her BFF (that is Best Friend Forever for all you old farts that ain’t up on the cool hipster expressions they use today) 😉 are coming in next month and we cannot wait…. !Always good to see family~! We have met BFF once or twice and we both like her – so it should be a real good time. They both have expressed an interest in trying SCUBA diving…… can’t wait to chat with them about it and see if they follow through. You know us damned old big brothers…. always getting the younger ones into something~! I couldn’t get her to jump out of an airplane (altho I did get her hubby to) maybe I can get her to jump into the Sea~! 😉 Regardless — it will be a good to see family again and have her around for a couple of days and show her BFF our beautiful island.

That’s about all I can squeeze out for you today dear readers….. this sick thing definitely throws a wrench in the works. Hopefully over and done with this crap by the end of next week……

Good night Ya’ll * * * * * * Thankx for stopping in~~!

Weather on the way~~

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
