Recovery day ?

Woke up around the same time as usual after a fitful night of sleep….. once again, I think maybe I was too tired….. that and battling another stomach something or other…… can’t wait until that gets lined out…. better now, it just gets old….. Didn’t do a heckva lot today – other than work on getting the place ready for Daughter # 3’s (Rachael) visit tomorrow~!! Still have a little bit to do – but will easily knock it out before we go pick her up.

Spent a little bit of time trying to understand my new dive computer. I opted for a basic ‘entry level’  dive computer…… this thing has a 50 page manual that comes with it…. 50~! I may have bit off more than I can chew…. but we’ll see. I also looked up information on my new spear gun — retails new for $ 213.00~! Nice – honestly though, probably gonna sell it and use the money for diving  😉

Really not a lot to rattle on about tonight…. no new turtles or diggings or anything. Didn’t go to Blues…. I did take a couple of pictures of some awesome cloud formations, so I’ll share them and some other older random pictures. Not sure what the next week or so will bring with having Rachael here, but still should be able to write.

Good night Ya’ll —– Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
