Time off~

Slept in this morning…… really slept in. I got up around 05:00 this morning and whizzed and then on back into bed. Found a position that was reasonably comfortable and slept until just past 08:00~!!  Woo-Hoo me~! Of course, now I’ll want to stay up till Midnight, but I’ll deal with that later. LOL  Pretty chill kinda day. Had a tasty breakfast of French toast, with some meat. Good stuff. I did run into town and picked up some ‘work‘ at the dive shop, stopped and filled the truck up and then came home and finished the ‘work‘ (dumping a bunch of pictures onto an external hard drive for the boss). Got bills paid for most of next month before moving to the couch. Watched a decent movie for a change, The Bounty Hunter. We initially thought we had seen it, but weirdly hadn’t and it was actually enjoyable. I think you would like it. Started another movie and about 3/4th of the way through it, before we had to take an intermission. Take potty break, stretch legs and allow me to sit and do this. It is called Me Time and so far been fairly decent.

Tomorrow is lawn mowing day for me….. not really looking forward to it, but it really needs it with the rain showers we been getting. Other than that, not a lot else going on. My schedule next week looks really light…… slow season here on our little rock. I’m sure something will come up….. it always does.

Good Night Y’all – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)

  1. Great pictures as always,,, yes, I just saw Bounty Hunter the other night, also saw Purple Hearts and Barefoot, both good, also if you want a good laugh, and good story acting etc, watch Life As We Know it,,, all on Netflix, also As Good As It Gets, good and good laugh too, Glad things are going OK over there, glad you will be ‘home “ in October. Hope am feeling better by then,,Hope feet go down, they were so swollen today couldn’t get shoe on Rick came down thought he could get on me, but nope, and they are two sizes bigger and 2 widths wider than I used to normally wear, ordered a bigger size again today, largest they had, a 12 double wide,,,like &179.00 but they are SAS and have good support with Velcro strap,,,,I want to be able to at least go to beauty shop, and will definitely need shoes this winter, everything is a chore anymore it seems, but hey, still living by myself,,, gotta get off my feet, sitting makes them swell, will get in my good queen size bed that raises, and raise my feet up,,,good night, be safe on your island,, love and hugs to both,,vj

    1. Thank you for the kind words about my photography, it makes me happy knowing people appreciate the beauty of the undersea world and hopefully the ability it takes to capture it. I sure enjoy doing it. We have seen most of the movies you mentioned except life as we know it…… I just watched the trailer and it looks really good, so we’ll probably watch it tonight…..and Barefoot. Can’t wait~ Thank you for those recommendations~!
Sorry to hear about the foot troubles. I have been having trouble with my feet swelling too, but mine is because of my stupidity and I’m working hard to correct that. Please do what ever you need to, to take care of your self as you are one of the “have to see” people when we come back.
Lot’s of doctors appointments when we get back. So far nothing major, just feel better having them done in the states……. gonna get started on my blog now. GREAT to hear from you…… take care of yourself and we’ll see you in a month or so~!
