Still on the bench……

Up this morning after a fairly impressive nights sleep. I got to stay in bed all night and slept fairly soundly through most of it. My bathroom was stuff was a huge improvement and I was happy with that. It didn’t take me long to realize though, that I’m not ready to be put back in the game yet though. I have a nasty sore spot on my left lower belly. Feels almost like a low gut punch. HMmmm…. that’s new. Could be from excessive ‘use’ Monday and the soreness is just catching up to me. Maybe dehydration? Could be from just sitting up weird. Could be from just being old and fat….. I don’t know. Being a starvin’ Marvin again…. I opted for a bit more of a solid breakfast…. scrambled eggs with a couple pieces of my Lil Smokies sausage (the solid part of the meal) The breakfast actually made my belly feel a little better….. for a while. I got up and got [slowly] active to see what moving around and doing something would do for me. I t didn’t help, but I did manage to get a couple of small things done. Shortly after Angie got home from work (office stuff at the ATV place) I opted to settle in on the couch for more brain numbing viewing. I was getting hungry, so I made me a small batch of Tuna salad and had that with some Ritz crackers. Tasted delightful but did not do much for my belly as the tenderness is still there. Not bad- but enough for me to call out again of being on the boat tomorrow. I just don’t think it’s a good idea yet. For now- I’ll play it by ear and see how each day goes until my Ultra Sounds. Maybe that’ll point to something I can get fixed.

Good Night Y’all > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
