Cruise Ship Day

Up before I really wanted to be this morning….. dammit emmit I hate when that happens. A mostly fitful night sleep. Not sure what the issue is but hope it’s been resolved enough to go back to that good snoozing I was doing~! Got up, regular routine, including breakfast and catching up on news when my Queen came stumbling out. I started the coffee and we sat quietly for the next hour before I had to take off. Another cruise ship in today which means the boat is still out on our end of the island. I like it in that I only have to drive a couple of minutes to get in town….. the down side is I have to hump my gear longer than the time it takes me to drive in, because I have to park so far away when the cruise ship is in (the area I normally park is blocked off for “cruise ship” day). Oh well….. I guess the exercise is good for me.

Turned out to be a full day of chasing cruise divers. A total of 11 divers which made for a good busy day chasing people taking pictures. The boat was very adequately staffed for the divers we had so I got to spend both dives photographing and not contending with ‘issues’. Everybody did really good so I wound up with a lot of fun pictures for them. The pictures  have all been edited and put up on line now, so hopefully everyone gets in to see them soon. Even caught up on my other stuff at this point already and it’s only 6:00 pm………  woo-hoo~! I may finish up early enough to catch a movie before bedtime. Diving again tomorrow and we are back to mid-island on the North shore….. so an hour of driving and probably still a LOT rougher water than what we’ve had the past week or so out here.  At least I won’t have to hump my gear as far~~~  😉

Got a belly full of spaghetti that my Queen made for us, already had a shower… all I have to do is drop batteries into chargers for the night and I’ll be good to go for tomorrow~!  It’s already down to 79 degrees……. I may have to break out the heating blanket  😉

Happy Anniversary to our Damn Neighbors…….. Don’t know how many years but I do know it’s their anniversary……. Luv you Fu…… both~~  😉

Good Night Y’all ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
