Diving out West~

Boat was out on our end of the island today, so I got to hang around the house an extra 30 minutes this morning, plus was back from diving 30 minutes earlier than usual which was nice. Made it seem almost like a half day today. Got my pictures up and edited and posted early~! That allowed for a little extra slack time to spend with my Queen.

Quite by accident, I learned a fun new ability on my camera….. Should really help me when I need that nice dark back ground sometimes….. I practiced it a bunch today….. I need to stay at it so it becomes ‘automatic’ when I need to use it. I hope you will start seeing a difference in my shots with this new ‘find’. Something I reckon I should have already known as a photographer….. but hey, I’m old…. cut me some slack~~

Having drinks and discussing dinner, we both we were hungry enough to eat, but neither of us felt like cooking- so we agreed to go out again. Wound up back at Louis & Nacho’s…… my Bride wanted Taco’s [again]—- A Daughter had told her she needed to try a Fajita. This place didn’t have them, but had a taco Fajita…. so I ordered her one of those along with her two cheeseburger taco’s.  She actually ate all of it…. I was surprised…. and one of her taco’s. (Brought the other one home for a snack tomorrow).

Tomorrow and Thursday are double boat days for me (4 dives a day)… so, long days….. I will earnestly try and keep up with my blog and music trivia…. but double days usually has me editing pictures until at least 9:00 in the evening….. usually to worn out to do much else after I get ‘work’ done……. but I’ll try.

Nice little rain shower has cooled the air off just a smidge and the frogs are singing and chirping noisily in the yards on each side of us. It would make good sleeping ‘music’ – but with the bedroom closed up and the A/C humming– we won’t hear it. The frog ‘music’ is nice and all- but there is a LOT to be said for a nice cool un-humid atmosphere for sleeping too~! Sorry frogs…….

Good Night Ya’ll + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
