A Diving lifestyle……

Another bout of thru the night aggravations….. bathroom trips – whacked out dreams….. actually started sweating a little bit – – bad as I hate it, I think we’re gonna have to fire up the A/C in the bedroom here before to long long……..Dammit Emmit~! Up, gear assembled and loaded into the truck – camera assembled and loaded into the truck, cooler filled and loaded into the truck, a small breakfast shoveled into me and then loaded into the truck… quite the morning routine….. and I did it 4 days in a row this week…… starting to feel a hellva lot like a job……. 🙂    but one that I love doing (minus the loading and unload stuff)  Originally had not planned on diving today – but a special request by the Dive Master on this load prompted me into going. Dammit   😉   Happy to report my new strobe worked like a champ and I now once again have all the lighting I need (for a while)  😉 Back at the house, gear rinsed and hung and enjoying an additional rinsing from spotty rain showers passing through.

I finally sat down and started editing and loading pictures…. I got a couple of them today I’m happy with…… Chatting with my Bride – I asked her if she would like to go out for dinner and she said she would…… so I finished my picture ‘stuff’ and jumped in the shower to knock the salt off from todays dives. I really wasn’t in the mood to go anywhere, but happy she said she’d like to go out. I had already had ? number of drinks – a 1/4 bag of cheese puffs, 2 pieces of left over pizza and I was pretty much set……. but I grabbed the phone, made some quick reservations and away we went. Walking quietly under an umbrella I held for her – we made our way into the restaurant and was quickly seated…… our waitress was an older lady – who apparently had been having a not so wonderful day….. we got through several ‘oops‘ laughed it off and tried to help the old dear have a better evening. My Bride had pork chops (wonderfully delicious but a tad dry) – I opted for Salmon cooked and covered with an OJ/Honey glaze. Salmon was done perfectly but I wasn’t real shot in the as.. butt about the glaze. I had an order of Broccoli and a garden salad as sides……. look at me eating all healthy and shi…. stuff. We wrapped the meal up with a shared Chocolate Fudge Cappuccino Sundae, a Chocolate Martini and one of the beautiful sunsets I’ve watched in a while…. watching it with my Bride made just that much better…. and we live here~!!!!!!

Tomorrow is a day off…. I need to catch up on paying bills and mowing yards…. before getting back on the boat Sunday by employer request ( I normally don’t do weekend loads) but she has family in and wants pictures….. I will probably save my dinner pictures from tonight for tomorrows post, just so I have something different for you.

Good Night Ya’ll + + + + + + + + + + + + + Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
