Missed the memo ?

Up early this morning in anticipation of trying out new gear and making my 300th dive. In all honesty….. the pee monkey was on my back and I would  have had to got up fairly early anyway to appease him. Up and got my day started… it wasn’t much longer my Bride came stumbling out getting ready for her day. We both woke up on our own accord and got ready for our perspective day. I missed the mark this morning by not offering to make her breakfast……. my bad….. my brain was somewhere else – but [happily] she made herself a couple of eggs and ate before she left. I left 5-10 minutes ahead of her and arrived at my spot at the marina, to find nobody there….. what the hell ? Okay – it’s the island……. they’re running a little late. After 5-8 minutes, a truck pulled in and up next to me – it was the Dive Master (that was supposed to be on the load this morning) and told me the load had been cancelled. What ? Wait~! I didn’t get the memo…… well Dammit Emmit~! I understood why the dive was cancelled…… it does not mean I had to be happy about it. I fired up DDII and headed back to the West end. Got to the house, made me a dandy breakfast [which I foolishly skipped earlier] and commenced to ‘piddle’ for the rest of the day. For me, piddling involves getting a lot or nothing accomplished during the course of a day. Today was kind of in between. I did get a couple of things done…. and a lot of nothing. Dammit Emmit~! My Queen finally indicated she was headed back from work – and I had her a drink made when she walked in the door. An hour or so of The 100 and a couple more drinks, I made us some cheeseburgers per my Queen’s request for dinner. Now continuing to watch the boob tube, snacking on cookies (dessert) and writing you all. I’ll go in and get the dishes done before settling  back in on the couch.

As it turns out – we will be working at Blues tomorrow night for another night of entertainment by Mama’s Blacksheep – so probably no post….. too old, too tired, etc., etc., etc. Since I didn’t dive, no new pictures, so putting up some I’m hoping you haven’t seen yet.

Good Night Ya’ll ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Thankx for stopping in~!

Playing with the light…..

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
