Rainy, hot and sticky~~

Woke up to some intermittent rain showers, before finally clearing out and becoming really hot and sticky. We are starting to get a little bit of weather from tropical storm Josephine, so we had some occasional nice gusts of winds that helped alleviate some the of the heat as we barrel on into Summertime here on the island. I guess we’re gonna get the brunt of the weather from it tomorrow/tomorrow night. I don’t thinks it’s gonna be much except a little wind and rain – if that much.

I talked myself out of walking today (long story) and really didn’t do much of anything else today. Watched a couple of movies…. first one was recommended to me by my ‘Lil Sis’ Nelia…… Neil – if you’re reading this…. what in the hell….#1) possessed you to watch that movie ? #2) did you really think that was a good movie ?…and… #3) would ever make you think I would like it ?? Guess I should make sure we are talking about the same movie….. a very poorly acted, dubbed in, Italian movie about a wigged out painter who was married to a whack job who ran off with his son ??? [The Son]…… reeling from that conglomeration…. next movie we watched was Erased….. don’t want to give it away…. not bad…. not great – but a dang site better than The Son…  😉  Last one we watched was a bit of a ‘chick flick’ and I Guar-on-tee most of my female readers will like it. It’s called Lost Husband.…. Vera – it has the guy from ‘Justified‘ in it~~  😉   So my choice out of the three was Erased……. more my style of movie. If any of you seen a movie you think we’d like – by all means… let us know…. unless they’re like The Son 😉

Really not a heckva lot else to ramble on about – I have a dive scheduled for Sunday morning if the weather holds up….so I’ll get to try out my new knowledge on my camera and hopefully come up with some more [better] under water pictures for you all…. for now, more oldies but goodies….

Good Night Ya’ll+ + + + + + + + + + + + + + Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
