Just how a day goes……

Woke up this morning after crashing much earlier than I normally do last night. It’s normally not like me to fade out early, but by 8:30 I couldn’t keep my eyes open and stumbled into bed. I really hadn’t had that much to drink – but I was just zapped. After a less than stellar nights sleep [again] – I finally rolled out around 06:30 ready for whatever this day had in store. Nothing was planned for the day – so it was a relaxing start to get us going. It didn’t take long before I got pinged and asked if I could meet up at  Blues for a quick meeting of Fish with A Vet. Well — sure~~!!  Met up at Blues shortly after they opened (11:00) and met up with other Board members. We talked for almost 30 minutes before wrapping up the meeting. Rest of the group took off and my Bride and I opted to hang for a bit…. real shocker there huh ? A bit turned into several hours as friends trickled in and we sat and chatted. One of those conversations now has me reporting back out to the steep roof job (if it isn’t raining) to wrap that job up. As soon as it is done – I want to skip any kind of work for a while and schedule some dives before we get ready to head back to the states.

Back at the condo and cooled off (it is getting really good and toasty here as our ‘Summer’ gets into full swing)   Breakfast long worn off – I made me a couple of burgers while Angie decided she wanted Mac-N-Cheese and some fish sticks. My belly is now happy full and I thought I’d go ahead and get my thoughts of the day out for you early today. I took some pictures around Blues….. feeling a little bit artsy…. so we’ll see what you think. Gonna sign off so I can go jump in the shower… catch ya tomorrow~~

Good Evening Ya’ll * * * * * * * * * * * * * Thankx for stopping in~!!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
