Not feelin’ it~~

Wasn’t going to put up anything at all tonight – but didn’t want you to check in for nothin’…… I guess the past several weeks is finally catching up to me. I have the energy of a lump of mud and my body has several new little aches and pains. I don’t think any of them are serious and just the end result of getting used to new meds and finally slowing down enough to let my body rest. Which I did a LOT of today……My bride ran into town for a Mani/Pedi while I sat my happy a$$ on the couch and did a whole bunch of nothing.

Angie has already wandered off to bed and I’m just waiting to get tired enough to fall asleep….. a challenge I have been struggling with now for far to long.  Tomorrow is Emancipation Day here on the island…… kind of a independence day for the locals the way I understand it. I don’t remember much about the last two so it could not have been to memorable. I know the 4th of July is really pretty tame here on the island – so not a lot to look forward to…… dammit – guess I’ll just have to rest some more~~ 😉

Good Night Ya’ll – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Thankx for stopping in~!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
