A relaxed casual Saturday ?

My Queen, having probably 1 or 4 too many drinks up at Rowdy Joes last night, decided she needed to hit the sack early last night. After watching that little bit of event unfold – I was happy she recognized it and headed for the bedroom. By 20:20, she was sound asleep and I was left to the solitude of our condo. I got out my issue of 500 words out to you all (I hope you enjoyed it) and a mere 2 something hours later crawled into bed with her.

We both rolled out about 07:00 this morning….. 11 hours for my Queen and a respectable 7+ hours for me…… and I was good with that. The bulk of the day today was computer time, God Of War [which I surprised her with this morning], a little bit of breakfast and Burn Notice. I [so far] love the series, my Bride is taking her time warming up to it. It kinda reminds me of Justify… good looking male lead (but NO where as good looking as Ray Lynn was) – a lot of gratuitous bikini shots on a Miami beach… and he’s a little bit funny………. So while I like it — Angie is still on the fence – but she now has a new God of War game to play and chomps at the bit to play it every chance she gets~!!  I keep myself busy, cooking, doing dishes and ‘stuff’ on the computer until she wears out the battery on her controller – -so life is good again in our little corner of paradise…….

I was going to start this post tonight by saying I don’t have “diddly” to talk about – but – already half way through my ‘word quota’…… we went up to Blues for the evening…. I delivered a new “101st Airborne ” flag for Jim, to be put up on their flag pole in honor of Memorial Day – and then commenced to drink ourselves half way into oblivion….. we finally shut Blues down and staggered our happy a$$e$ back to the condo. I gave my Queen the option as we left —  Mickey D’s, KFC or I would cook her a steak when we got home for dinner, as a choice of something to eat… [she seriously needed  food in her belly at that point]……… silly, silly, boy…. I knew the answer to that question before I even asked…… so – 20 minutes later, we were home, fresh drinks made (like we needed it) and I had a 1.25″ Filet Mignon on our little grill for my bride~~~~~ Sautéed up one entire onion – and 40 minutes later set it down in front of my Queen……… about 8 minutes later it was ALL gone……. That makes me happy~!!  : )   I made me an awesome cheeseburger to enjoy while she inhaled her steak……

Here I sit now, ready to wash dishes….. while my bride ‘God of War’s the hell out of her new game~!! Life for us is good here on our gorgeous little island once again………

Good Night Ya’ll – – – – – – –  – – – – Thankx for stopping in~!

It certainly does~!!

Born in Germany as an Army brat - I moved permanently to the United States about the time I was ready to start school - Dad put to me to work when I turned 13 tearing off roofs and packing shingles.. I did that, DE tasseled corn and bucked hay all the way through high school. After graduation, moved down South for a year or so trying to figure what I wanted to do. Finally came home and joined the Air Force serving almost 5 years - which included a 3 year tour in Germany, where I met my Queen. Came home and started working as a roofer. Economy went to crap and I knew I would not be able to support my growing family the way I wanted to, so I pestered the HR department at General Electric until they hired me. A very quick almost 34 years, 4 Daughters and 9 Grandkids later - here I am .... waiting as patiently as I can, to start the next chapter of our life - romping around in the Caribbean Sea checking out the various islands that we have not been to yet. Holy $hit what a ride~!!!! ;-)
